Naksha Handcrafted embodies a vision of sustainability, cultural preservation, and modernity, offering timeless pieces that showcase the beauty of traditional Tunisian weaving and embroidery techniques.

Latifa Hizem is a Tunisian fashion designer and advocate for preserving traditional Tunisian craftsmanship. With a background in mathematics and a career spanning both industrial textile manufacturing and artisanal design, Hizem has been at the forefront of revitalizing Tunisia’s fashion heritage.

Before founding Naksha Handcrafted, she launched the CAROLINA brand in 1995, which innovatively
combined Calais lace with raw textiles like denim and linen. Her extensive experience in the textile
industry and her passion for cultural heritage have driven her to create Naksha Handcrafted, where
she reimagines traditional craftsmanship for modern audiences.
